Our decking system is enhanced by our exclusive Durafix screws, offering concealed fixings that simplify the installation of Millboard.
Durafix fixings offer versatility in application: they can be utilized either through the face or the side of the boards with the assistance of the DuoFix Side-Fixing Guide. This innovative system ensures a swift and effortless fixing process, resulting in a neat, concealed finish. When fixing through the face of the boards, there’s no requirement for pre-drilling, countersinking, or clip fixings; simply follow our installation guide. Following application, the ingenious Lastane coating on the boards flexes back over the screw heads, leaving minimal visible marks. Additionally, our touch-up paint can be used to complement the finish.
It’s recommended by Millboard to use their screws to avoid invalidating the warranty.
Durafix Trimhead Screws for Boards – 60mm
To install Millboard decking onto timber or Plas-Pro subframes with a thickness of 35mm or more, you have the option of either side fixing using the DuoFix guide or face fixing directly onto the decking boards. The driver bit is included. Each box of 250 screws covers approximately 11 decking boards.
Durafix Trimhead Screws for Boards – 45mm
To install Millboard decking onto DuoSpan or Plas-Pro subframes with a thickness of 20mm or more, you have the option of either side fixing using the DuoFix guide or face fixing directly onto the decking boards. Please note that these fixings are not suitable for fixing Millboard decking onto timber subframes. The driver bit is included. Each box of 250 screws covers approximately 11 decking boards.
Durafix Fascia Screw for Fascias – 35mm
To install fascia or Envello cladding boards onto battens with a thickness of 25mm or more, do not use these fixings for installing decking boards. Driver bit included. Each box of 100 screws covers approximately 6 fascia boards.
